Always happens to me!
:O( Not five minutes later I got the email saying it was booked out! Even though the website said it was vacant for the next 6 months!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR! This always happens to us-seriously it's a running joke in our house. Whenever we are after something specific-whether it be food, a size, a book from the library,a time for an appointment-whatever it happens to be, the one we want is always out! damn damn damn-back to the website!

Hey - you mentioned trying out the American food in an earlier post and you mentioned peanut butter cups. Be sure, if you order the peanut butter cups, to get none other than "Reeses". They are the best and most common sold here. There are other - off brands- but none come close the Reeses.
BTW Ross got me hooked on Nutella -ohhh nothing better.
Hope you find another vacation house up to your standards. Just remember if you don't get quite what you want - holiday is about quality time with the people you love - not as much as the surroundings, and make the best of it. You will have fun regardless of the house I'm sure.
